Our names are Max and Carolyn Walker and we have reached those golden
retirement years we always dreamed of. Rather than allowing those back porch
rockers to occupy our days, we have chosen to enjoy our time meeting new folks
and sharing interesting things we are learning about gardening and providing for
ourselves in these times of uncertainty facing our Nation.
There are several things in our world today that should catch our attention:
*higher food prices each time you visit the store
*rising gas prices that may later result in trucks failing to maintain store
inventories
*food contamination and salmonella scares (organic vegetables are grown
without chemicals)
*possibility of future government control of farming
Just as Joseph filled the storehouses of Egypt for the famine that lay ahead, you can
plan for your family's needs in depressed and uncertain times. Don't get caught as
New Orleans did in a tragic emergency by depending on government to be there for
you. Apply the "Joseph Principle" to store up the food supply your family may very
well need in the coming year.

make your family healthier.
